The ultimate chocolate lovers dessert: Pots de Creme

I got a free recipe book last week, it mostly just promotes the brands that the company owns, and doesn't have any good recipes, except for one. The pots de creme are insanely easy and delicious. They are the ultimate chocolate dessert. The best part about this dessert is that although they are rich, and decadent, they are served in espresso cups which makes the desserts, small and a personal treat. The whole thing takes a total of 2 minutes to make the chocolate and 3 minutes to make the whipped cream.

Take a gander at this beauty topped with home made whipped cream!
You can find the recipe here. I made a few tweaks to the recipe when I made it- I used semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate, added more vanilla and I didn't sweeten my home made whipped cream. I also found that the dessert cups were too hard when removed from the fridge, so I warmed mine slightly so that it was softer.

Happy Cooking!

P.S. The new job is going well. I hope to be increasing my posts in the near future.
