French Toast

My hands down breakfast fave is french toast. It's quick, tasty, and has tons of flavor options. Today I am sharing my basic french toast recipe. I have seen french toast mix sold in stores, this one is so easy. Why would you need a mix?

French Toast

3 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
cinnamon, and nutmeg to taste
bread, I use a thick white

In a large bowl mix eggs, milk , vanilla and spices. I like a lot of cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg in mine.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Spray with cooking spray.

Dip the bread in the egg mixture coating all sides. Add to pan. Cook until golden brown.

Serve immediately, topped with syrup, powdered sugar, fresh fruit or butter.
