What do grapeseed, sesame, vegetable, coconut, and olive all have in common? They are different types of oils that you could choose when strolling down the grocery aisle. What one to choose? My top pick is always olive oil. It is really versatile, has tons of flavor options, and has tons of health benefits.

February is Heart Health Month, and in celebration I am sharing one of my favorite sides with none other than olive oil.
Asparagus with Olive Oil and Lemon Zest
1 bunch of asparagus
extra virgin olive oil
cracked black pepper
1 Lemon, zested
Roast or grill asparagus until tender, drizzle with olive oil, and season with lemon zest and black pepper.
Serve with some grilled salmon and you have a heart healthy meal!
