I have really been into smoothies lately. The other night I made an awesome smoothie with some extra produce I had laying around my house. It was thick, filling and perfect for breakfast.
1 pint of strawberries,
1 ripe banana,
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt,
1/4 cup black cherry and grape juice,
4 tablespoons of wheat germ,
Up to 1/2 cup milk
Place strawberries, banana, yogurt, juice and wheat germ in the blender. Pulse the blender to get things a little smoother. Add half of the milk and blend. You may need to add the rest of the milk to thin the smoothie more.
