Maple Glazed Pork Chops

I love pork chops, and there are tons of things that you can do with them. This is one of my favorite ways to make chops. What I like most is their faint maple flavor. If you like Sam the Cooking Guy's Chops give mine a try.

Maple Glazed Pork Chops

4 pork chops
1 tablespoon olive oil
garlic powder
1 tablespoon of butter
pure maple syrup

In a large pan, place olive oil and pork chops over medium heat. Sprinkle pork chops with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 160 Degrees.

Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan, and brush pork chops generously on both sides with maple syrup. Continue to cook about 5-10 minutes more, until the maple syrup has caramelized a bit, and the chops are maple colored.

Remove from pan and serve immediately with any additional sauce from the pan.
