Kitchen Garden

Growing your own food is such a labor of love. It's fun to nurture seeds and plants into food that provides nutrients for your family.

On Saturday, my Husband and I worked in our new garden. We cut out the plot, took out the big rocks, and turned the soil. Our kitchen garden isn't huge, 4 x 15 feet, but will be the prefect place to grow produce for an awesome salad- tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, broccoli, and carrots. We will also be planting herbs, peas, strawberries, and beans in containers.

Today I am providing a few links on kitchen gardens

Do you have a kitchen garden? What types of things do you grow?

Happy Gardening!

It looks like you've got some great resources here! My partner and I are growing for the first season this year, and have most certainly taken on too much (7'x52' bed) but we are gonna do our darnedest to stay on top of it.

Check out our blog at www.20food.net We will check back in with you to see how your kitchen garden grows :)
