Cherry Limeade

This week has been hot, well that is a bit of an understatement. It seems like I can't get cool for anything and on these kind of days I definitely need a big refreshing drink with lots of ice. A cold drink on a hot day is like AC for the body and this drink is sure to get you feeling refreshed in no time.

Cherry Limeade

8-10 Limes (If the limes are bigger use 8, smaller use 10)

1 cup sugar
4 cups water
1 cup fresh cherries
Lime Slices

Chill some glasses by placing them in the freezer for a few minutes (five minutes should do the trick.)

Zest one lime and place in a blender, juice limes and add remaining ingredients except ice in the blender. Blend until combined.

Pour limeade over ice into chilled glasses, garnish with lime wedges and a straw and serve.

Happy Cooking!
