This blog started because I have a hard time buying things I know I can make at home cheaper and tastier. I was grocery shopping a few weeks back and was picking up some chive and onion cream cheese for morning bagels. It occurred to me that I could easily make a version that would cut the price and the amount annoying containers to throw away. So I picked up a block of plain cream cheese and got to work replicating Philadelphia's version.
