Panko Crusted Pork Chops

Panko is a really crunchy bread crumb that comes from Japan. It is crispier and lighter than regular bread crumbs. It is delicious on chicken and pork.

Panko Crusted Pork Chops

4 bone in pork chops
2 eggs, beaten with 2 tablespoons of water
1 box of panko, they make several varieties I like the Italian personally.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.

Dip pork chops in egg mixture and dredge in panko.

Place pork on the cookie sheet and bake for about 35 minutes turning half-way through cooking.

The texture is way better than shake 'n bake, but by all means, have your kids help you while cooking. That way, they can say "We're having panko crusted pork chops, and I helped!" Cheesy I know, but I had to do it.

Happy Cooking!
