Houses, Cleveland, and Corky &Lenny's

This past week was a whirlwind for sure! We put an offer in on a house and then I headed off to Cleveland, Ohio for a visit to the Cleveland Clinic to attend my Aunt's surgery.

The Cleveland Clinic is amazing! It embraces holistic care as well as traditional medicine. When I entered the hospital, I was amazed at just how tranquil the hospital was. There were tons of plants, waterfalls, sky walks, and gentle music. The whole hospital, although buzzing with activity it is a very calming, and quiet place. The hospital is huge and hosts several restaurants, a fantastic gift shop and book store, and natural health shop. The hospital is home to therapy dogs, an art gallery, and they have a very active music therapy department that plays music for patients, and family.

Penzey's and Trader Joe's were on the list of places to visit and I picked up a ton of spices and other awesome natural treats. We went to our new favorite Cleveland restaurant, Corky & Lenny's Deli twice for awesome sandwiches, crunchy pickles and soul (and body)  healing matzoh ball soup.  Sadly, I don't think they deliver out of Ohio.

Our offer was accepted! Now I am back home, making about a million calls about the house.

Happy Monday!
