Whole Wheat Pasta with Sauteed Veggies

I was in the mood for pasta last night. I had some beautiful zucchini, mushrooms, and peppers and created this dish in no time at all for a refreshingly easy dish that makes you feel good eating it.

Whole Wheat Pasta with Sauteed Veggies
1 pound of whole wheat pasta, I used thin spaghetti
2 medium zucchini
5 baby bell peppers,julienned
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 onion, sliced
1 bag frozen broccoli
Olive oil
Parmesan Cheese

Place a pot of water on to boil and cook pasta according to package instructions. While the pasta water comes to a boil, place all ingredients but broccoli in a large saute pan. Saute until the veggies are still slightly crisp, and remove from heat.

Toss broccoli into the past water a few minutes before the pasta is done. Drain, return to pan, and add veggies. Toss with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
