Apple chips are perfect for running errands, hiking, or just healthy snacking. These chips are easy, are fat free, contain no added sugar, and full of filling fiber.
Peel, and core apples, I did about 10 pounds. Slice thinly with a mandolin and place slices on dehydrator racks. Squeeze a little lemon juice over the apples to help with darkening. I dried my apples at 135 degrees for about 8 1/2 hours rotating the racks every 3 hours or so. The apples are done when they are crisp and no longer moist.
