Apple Kugel

L’Shanah Tovah! Today marks the beginning of Rosh Hashanah. For information on this holiday check out the link here. Since it is apple week, I had to share my favorite apple dessert for Rosh Hashanah. This apple kugel is really tasty. It is best served hot right out of the oven.

Apple Kugel Adapted from The Jewish Woman

4 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ cup melted butter
1 cup flour
6 tart apples, peeled and sliced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Fold flour to wet ingredients, add apples. Pour into a greased 9x13- inch pan and bake for 45–50 minutes.

Happy Cooking!
