Holly's Banana Bread

My aunt hates bananas. The sight of them makes her sick and she hates the smell of them. The funny thing is, she has one of the best banana bread recipes around and makes really good banana bread. Today I am sharing her recipe. Give it a try it is sure to delight.

Bake 3 mini loaves for 45 minutes.

Holly's Banana Bread

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed banana (about 2-3 medium)
1 TBSP milk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, stirring well between. Beat in bananas and milk. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, gradually add to wet mixture. Remove from mixer and fold in nuts. Pour in to greased loaf pan and bake 65-75 minutes. Cool on a wire rack ten minutes, and then remove pan. Loaves can be frozen and thaw well.

Happy First Day of Fall!
