Chocolate Chip Cookies For 2

I am totally in love with these cookies. They come together in minutes and are crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and portion controlled for those who have a weakness for sweets, like me. I always have all the ingredients on hand, so I'm no more than 15 minutes from a hot batch of cookies.

I've always thought you couldn't get better than the Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie, but I think I have officially replaced that recipe with this one. They are addicting... so, you've been warned. They are egg free, so you don't have to worry about what to do with an extra bit of egg or you have an allergy. They're 132 Calories without the nuts, so they're not too bad on the waist line either.

Chocolate Chip Cookies for Two
adapted from Baker Girl

1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
A pinch of cinnamon
2 tablespoons softened butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon plain nonfat yogurt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate chips
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. In a small bowl combine the tablespoon of vinegar and baking powder, pour into cookie mixture. Add the yogurt and stir until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll dough into six balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown and crispy around the edges.

Happy Cooking!

They look good. Of course, if I baked only 4 cookies I'd need to hide my 2 somewhere like the sweater drawer in order to make sure I got to eat them! :)
