Party Cubes

My husband's birthday is tomorrow. We had a get together at our house over the weekend to celebrate. He loves burgers so we did a slider party. We had a ton of little burgers, mini corn on the cob, mac & cheese, corn bread with honey butter, broccoli salad (his other favorite) and of course cake and ice cream. We spend the day playing games, and spending time with our families. It was a really great day.

I wanted to give the party a special vibe with fun little surprises here and there for my husband and our guests to enjoy. We served drinks in Mason jars and brought summertime BBQ's indoors for the day. I made these party cubes for our lemonade. Our guests loved them! Not only do they keep your drink cold without watering them down, they are beautiful!

Come back tomorrow for a special drink featuring these cubes!

Party Ice Cubes

lemon slices

Place sliced strawberries and quarters of lemon slices into a mini muffin tin. Fill with lemonade and freeze. Just prior to serving allow the muffin tin to sit out for a minute or so to slightly melt the ice so you can remove them from the tin. Place into a pretty container, or in glasses of lemonade for a pretty and delicious drink.

Happy Cooking!
