Spring Pasta with Green Peas, chicken, and Bacon

Green peas are great in pasta. They add color, texture, and a little bit of snappy crunch. This pasta is delicious and perfect for nights that you're looking for a quick dinner that is tasty and pretty.

Spring Pasta with Green Peas, chicken, and Bacon

1 pound bow tie pasta
1/2 bag of green frozen peas
6 slices of bacon, diced
1 chicken breast, diced
2 cloves of garlic, pressed
Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons olive oil

Cook bacon in a large pan, add chicken and continue to saute until cooked through. While that is cooking, cook pasta according to package instructions, adding peas for the last few minutes of cooking.

Add garlic to chicken and cook a few minutes more. Reduce heat to low if the pasta isn't cooked when the garlic has finished cooking.

Drain pasta, add chicken and bacon, drizzle with olive oil and toss with cheese.

Serve immediately, with extra Parmesan.

Happy Cooking!
