Overnight Oats Recipe Review

Last night I made Skinny Overnight Oats in a jar from Skinny Taste I thought I would share the recipe and give it a review. I think you are all really going to like it. This is way quicker than going through any drive-thru. I think it took all of 5 minutes to make last night. I was starving when I woke up this morning and was trying to figure out what to have for breakfast. I forgot that I made this last night. I was so happy when I remembered. It helped me to not eat a few slices of cheese, and a glass of juice while I figured out what to make while I fed the baby.

I ate it cold right out of the fridge. The berries were great. I added nuts and it provided a really nice crunch. There wasn't an overpowering banana flavor, which was something I was worried about. The oats were creamy, but it was a little bit chalky, but not too bad. I think a little warming could solve that issue. The chia seeds were good. They didn't swell up or anything and were nice and crunchy. 

 
I will be making this again tonight for tomorrows breakfast. I think I will pop it in the microwave for a few seconds first. It was really good. I feel energized and it was the only thing I ate all morning and we are approaching noon, so that is a plus!

Great review! I love it cold in the hot months but in the winter, I'll often zap it for a few seconds in the microwave just to take the chill off a little.

I love adding pumpkin, cinnamon, and cranberries in the fall. Yum!
