Easy and Inexpensive Advent Wreath

It's hard to celebrate Advent without an Advent Wreath. I found myself trying to scramble to find an advent wreath just before our nightly devotional on Sunday. I really didn't prepare very well for the first day of advent and so the first night I placed four candles on a plate and that was what we had to work with. I got on amazon later that night hoping to Prime something more suitable. I was sad to see how expensive they are!

I didn't have a lot of money to spend and I ended up creating this beautiful wreath for $4. It was so easy even my toddler could do it. In fact, I had to move the wreath because he kept taking it apart and playing with the pieces.

Easy Advent Wreath

1 large plate

4 pillar candles, either 3 purple and one pink or if you can't find those, 4 white work just as well.

Evergreen pieces, Maybe from your tree, the park, or in my case, stolen  broken off my neighbors bush.

Place the candles on a plate, I used a gold charger I got from the dollar store a few years ago. Surround them with greens to make a sort of wreath.

Light one candle each night for the first week, two for the second, three for the third, and four for the fourth week in advent.

Pick a meal or a time of day that you light the wreath and spend some time in devotion.

Merry Christmas!
